One of DH's solutions is only OK if you are allowed to have none of one category, so shouldn't there be 2 more in that case - one with 0 women & one with 0 men?
I will ask him when he gets off the phone...

I think it's 6 then (DH did point out that there were other solutions involving negative numbers of people....)
