wash 'em all in non-bio

Jennisaurus · 26/11/2004 15:42

I washed everything in non-bio, including the blankets etc.

or hand wash as they're not really dirty and only need a quick 'run through'

I worried about this as had lots of stuff I didn't want to wash as it might've been too small & had to be returned!

In the end I took one pack each of 'newborn' & '0-3 months' babygros in - as it turned out we needed the 0-3 size for monster size ds. & using them straight from the (sealed, mothercare) pack seemed to be OK.

I always wash second hand stuff tho' (even tho' most of it comes from a friend who's considerably more fastidious than I am!)

SenoraPostrophe · 26/11/2004 15:55

what? why would you do that???

all my kids baby stuff was worn straight from the pack. Neither baby seemed to mind.

no, just use it without washing it.

Not that I believe the superstition, but you'll only get worked up if you break your self imposed rule.

My DD's shawl (from mothercare) stank when it was new had to wash it

Never occurred to me to wash stuff before it's dirty. Struggle to keep on top when it's clean.
