I spoke to the nature bots folk (swedish firm) and they said disposables (even the more eco ones) are not suitable because of human faeces and this should absolutely not be spread around the garden etc.

hmm, moltex oko designed their nappies to go into wormeries.
you flush the poo away, not put it in

Yeah I've read that too but the fella I spoke to was absolutely certain that they shouldn't be composted or put in a womery if you planned to use the end product even if you've flushed. Perhaps someone else has got some more helpful advice. Sorry

but human waste from sewage works gets spread on fields and stuff. I saw it on come outside. and auntie mabel never lies lol

I shall have to do some more investigating. it isn't like i'm going to be spreading it on my veg patch or anything

I used compostable nappy liners (can't remember what, sorry!), only did the ones that had wee going through though. These were with terries, which are still going strong years after he started school. Once potty training, I'd empty the wee on the heap as an activator (but never poo!)
