Removal company willing to shift a Rayburn Stove????

After many futile attempts at trying to find one thought I'd see if any other mumsnetters knew of any company willing to shift a single item weighing in at an impressive 300kg.

I'm hoping to sell it on Ebay so the winning bidder could be anywhere so I imagine such a company would have to be quite a large outfit!

Hope someone can help

Sorry, I don't know of any, but you could specify that the buyer arranges collection and shift the burden onto them?

Our local county council will collect large household items for £3. We shifted an old washing machine this way.

Might have to do that Spacemonkey. I've been keeping an eye out on the other Rayburns / Agas for sale on Ebay and only one was able to arrange posting, and this one got the biggest bids. I contacted the chap to see who'd arranged the removal but the company he used doesn't do single items, you have to have a contract with them.

Shall plug away with yellow pages to see if there are any takers
