Advice on Pinner/Ruislip/other areas in West London

Hello!
This is my first ever post on mumsnet. Myself, my husband, our 9 month old baby and dog are looking for a house in West London.
I moved from Clapham to suburban Bristol during lockdown after getting married since my work's London office was closed but things are opening back up again and it feels like not going into the office at all isn't really working anymore.
I'd like to be near a tube station that would get me into central London in about 50 minutes and DH is likely to get defense work west of London so we thought areas like Pinner or Ruislip or perhaps Eastcote could be good since we can both commute. We're looking for a 3-4 bdr, 2 bathroom house with a garden and budget is about 750-800k but so far everything I have seen online looks very grim/dowdy/squeezed!
Any suggestions for other areas in West London that could be within our budget or nice but affordable bits within the abovementioned areas? While our Clapham/party days are behind us we do still like to go to a nice (non chain) coffee shop or pub, walk down a high street that has a few shops and feel like we're not in the middle of nowhere. Because of DS good nurseries and schools are important and because of the dog (and all of us really) being near a park and a short drive away from bigger green space is a must. Thank you for any advice you can offer!

I’m also house searching at moment, have seen a nice house in Edwards Avenue in South Ruislip. Ticked all our boxes but out of our price range. It may be of interest to you.

You need to have a look at north Ruislip, the houses tend to be a lot bigger. Anywhere around Ruislip high street/top of Ruislip Manor tends to be the more 'desirable' places to live. Full of good schools and a family vibe. Good luck!

Ickenham is nice and you can be walking distance from central, Picc and met lines.

Northwood also good and a family home in your budget just came on the market in Old Northwood (5 minutes from Met line station.)
