Anyone seen Lilo and Sitch or whatever it's called?

A friend is thinking of taking my son and others to see this for her son's 4th birthday but we don't know anything about it. Does anyone know if it would be suitable for children who are just 4 and who enjoyed Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Shrek and all the Disney films (ie not easily scared)? Thanks.

My 5 year old went to see it yesterday with her 10 year old sister and various cousins, and they loved it. It's a cartoon animation rather than the computer animated types you mention. I should imagine if he is old enought to sit through the film he would love it. Incidentally one of my dd's cousins is only 4 too, and she went with them.

partner took my 3 1/2 yr olds to see this a couple of weeks back and a good time was had by all (and one of my boys is quite prone to getting frightened by various odd things so we were a bit worried!).

We took our ds & dd, 3& 8 years old, and we all loved it! It is the usual disney mix of plucky orphan, sad moments, scary bits and happy ending! I would recommend it, if only for the Elvis impressions!!

Batters - I get out far too much so am happy to stay in with the youngest and volunteer dp to go to the cinema with the other dads! I agree it is nice to go with them at that age to talk about it with them afterwards. It just doesn't sound like my kind of film...!
Thanks to you all for your responses, I'm more than reassured that our boys will all enjoy it.

Took my boys to see this on Saturday. ds1 (just 5) enjoyed it, but found it quite scary too - but not as scary as the Harry Potter trailer, which he found terrifying. ds2 (only 3.5) couldn't really follow it, and was bored only half way through. I must admit I thought it was pretty violent - loads of guns and stuff - Yes, I am very protective, but with hindsight I wouldn't have taken even ds1 to see it.

The four 4 year-olds are going this weekend with their dads so I'll post their verdict!
