Lovely gorgeous mumsnetters who helped me earlier, plus the evening shift who have just clocked on (and are equally lovely) please try out my geography questions for the pub quiz later this week and let me know what you think...

Dh said they were hard too and he normally cleans up on the geography round.

Okay give me a couple of alternative suggestions to consider substituting for one or two of the harder ones

Portland Bill was the easiest one! THere was a children's programme called Portland Bill all about a lighthouse keeper when I was little!

oh bum - dh and I argued over 5 & 7 and he got them right .... But i said warwickshire for 1 and he said Oxfordshire....

The lighthouse is called Portland Bill lightbouse according to various google links. I think the Bill is the bit of land.
