Its me lesson planning again, am starting a new topic on the nature of evil and have collected some images and want some music to set them to. Something quite haunting. A GCSE class so I am not scaring little children

Hmm,

Bernard Herrmann's scores for Psycho and Taxi Driver are full of foreboding

Jerry Goldsmith's work on The Shining also pretty creepy

but this is one scary mama

Along the same lines as the Penderecki, Gorecki's Third Symphony "Of Sorrowful Songs" here is utterly harrowing

I had the Penderecki played to me at school and it has always remained with me as one of the most genuinely terrifying pieces ever
