What sporty activities do you do with your 3 year olds?

I have a pretty active DD (2.7) and am wondering what sports/activities we could try with her. She goes to ballet once a week, but I suspect it is not active enough for her - her little face always lits up when they are supposed to skip or run around - only to be told after a minute to sit down again and point toes (or hands). Sitting still is not high up on her list of favourite things (normal toddler I guess)

So - what other interesting classes can you do with your active children? Any ideas appreciated!

what about football? - www.littlekickers.co.uk/ We take ds who was 2 in September and he loves it - there are some girls there although it is mostly boys - a structured way of running aroung like headless chickens kicking a ball around...

No classes, but my daughter (just 3) has a scooter and a bicycle which are excellent for tiring her out. We go to the playground (great jungle gym) and she comes shopping with me on foot.

With my reasonably active DD we did Tumble Tots and swimming, with DS (who is just 2 and VERY active) we do toddler trampolining, Tumble Tots, swimming and scootering back from dropping off/picking up big sister twice a day, usually the long way via all of the park and a lot of dogs that need to be chased/have balls thrown for them

Thank you all for the great tips - toddler trampolining sounds fab - we have a trampoline at home and she loves it!
We are in SW London - so am off now to google a few ideas from here
