GERMAN SPEAKERS HELP: Kriegsgefangenen, Fingerabbruck, Personalbefareibung, etc

Hi,

I have found this odd piece of paper in my house, it has an stamp with an upside down eagle, dated Koln 1942.
But it is quite hard to read, due to german alphabet, and really oldfashioned font. And I dont speak german, so dont know if I dechiper it correctly.

It says things like:
Depot De Verdun
Prisonnniers De Guerre

Matrikel Nr
Stamrolle des heiatgates
Befanennamhe (ort und datum)
Ob Gefund, krank, vermunbet, eingeliefert

etc.

There is a lso a fingerprint on it.

It looks like a personell record. it is only half completed. The space for Name is left open. My son has scribbled his name there...

Could this be part of some really bizarre toy or playset?

Could you scan it in? I can't really read that old font very well either but I had some practice with it deciphering my grandmother's shopping lists in my childhood.

Koln is Cologne.

Matrikel Nr is something like an enrolement number. You get a Matrikel Nr when you enrol at Uni in Germany.

Stamrolle des Heiagates makes no sense to me, I'm afraid. I would need to see the original.

Befanennahme?? Could that be "Gefangenname" or something like it? That means "arrest" or "imprisonment" Would make sense regarding the "Prisonniers de Guerre". Ort und Datum, means place and date.

The last line, I'm pretty sure, asks "If person was healthy (gesund), sick (krank) or injured (verwundet) when he was brought in"

I dont have a scanner, but if I make a photograph in daylight, it should work.
I dont know where it is from. I just found it on the floor this afternoon! I asked my son, as he had scribbled on it, and he said he found it at my parents place (In Norway).

Koln is the O with two dots over btw.

Kriegsgefangene is mentioned quite frequently.

Just asked DH. He said that lawyers use the term Stamrolle.

Have googled and found this:

"The Stammrolle simply refers to the master regimental nominal roll."

Really doesn't sound like a toy/game, more like a historical document. If the photo doesn't work could you type it out?

I can try type it out if the photo doesnt work, but as it has been in my sons posession since last Christmas, it has also suffered the siscors, and I think a vital chunk has been cut out.

I remember my mum telling me that there was a prisoner of war camp on her neighbours field with Russion prisoners when she was young (she was born in 27). On the land my parents built the house there was a storage facility for fallen soldiers....

Some of the form is completed in black ink, and it only barely decipherable. Matrikel number is 74291, It is dated 26 roman V (may I supppose) 40.

You have probably already figured it out but both Depot De Verdun and Prisonnniers De Guerre are french, not german - Verdun (place in France) depot and prisoners of war.

Also, could heiatgates be heimat(es), which I seem to remember means country of origin/homeland?

Yes, I dont understand that.

THe form is in in German. The purple stamps with Depot du Verdun are in french. And the hand writing in ink seems to be french rather than german.

Maybe it is some kind "document" from a really sick game.... ??

Truppeteil could mean group

Sivilberuf = Zivilberuf = Civilian occupation.

Juralt = Jurist? = Lawyer
