Poor you, whitefeather. Sounds like both you and dp are under a lot of strain, atm. Hope you can sort it out a bit today.

Saying "no" to the last 4 words of a post without trying to address the rest is pretty annoying, StuartC, IMO.

whitefeather · 16/10/2004 09:01

yeah i know it doesnt help does it worst of it being... i thought i'll go out with the girls and when he comes home he'll see ive went out ... but got in at 12 and guess what he wasnt back, so that didnt work totally pissed off, not really under any strain just he's not very sympathetic a simple cuddle when i was upset could easily put things right x

ScummyMummy · 16/10/2004 09:10

Would it help for you to make the first move and give him a cuddle, even though he doesn't deserve it? I find that it's quite easy for everyone to be so huffy and hurt that no one will make the first move and then this sort of row can drag on and on...

Do you have babysitters on tap or something- impressed that you both managed to go out at the same time!

whitefeather · 16/10/2004 09:12

not a mummy, sorry kind of a fraud being on here, had several miscarrages but logged on here when i was first pregnant and been hooked since, no no babysitters are needed just yet anyway xx

OP posts:
ScummyMummy · 16/10/2004 09:21

Fair enough- not a fraud at all. Hope things get better for you today, hon.

whitefeather · 16/10/2004 09:28

about the cuddle no i aint going to give him one first everytime ive flew the whit flag and cuddled him he sarcastically cuddles me back tapping my back and saying ahhhhh hes a patronising pratt at times

charliecatthenonsmoker · 16/10/2004 09:42

Ive witnessed many men doing exactly what your first post described ang its because they have already planned to go out, and instead of saying "Im going out with my mates tonight see you later" for some BIZARRE reason they turn in into thier other halfs problem and its ridiculus, but ive seen it happen.
Hope you have a better day today, forget about it or ask him what his problem was, he will be all sickly sweet as hes had his night out now, so he will be trying to crawl into your good books!

Amfs · 16/10/2004 09:46

write him a note .. tell him why you were upset .. tell him he has lots of making-up to do .. and you're waiting

drop big hints about jewellery

and No I don't think it is all men, but have seen it before and I also think he already had plans to go out

whitefeather · 16/10/2004 09:53

that had crossed my mind too i said that to my friend i just cant beleive hed leave me in that state rather than just saying hey babe the lads have asked me to go out tonight is that cool? im fine with him going out! but that had crossed my mind, he's off out tonight too, so if im lucky might get a chance on sunday to sort this mess out!
