Sunshinemummy · 26/09/2007 12:09

Mine are more modest and near where I live but I like these two:

This one
And this one

purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:13

this is nice

Maybe a bit small

Fimbo · 26/09/2007 12:14

As I love the village I live in, has great schools etc, the house I would have chosen (which unfortunately came up for sale after we had exchange on ours) - would have been this.

ImBarryScott · 26/09/2007 12:15

I don't want much - just a four bed terrace about ten minutes walk from here.

Like this one.

purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:16

yes please!

Fimbo · 26/09/2007 12:20

Its very nice purpleflower but I would be scared living in a house like that, especially as dh is away a lot, mind you at that price you would probably have the servants to come with it!

bran · 26/09/2007 12:20

I like your second one Sunshinemummy.

I'm not keen on stately piles WWW, too much upkeep needed. I'm much to lazy to be bothered with it all.

I'll get searching.

FrogPrincess · 26/09/2007 12:21

I'd be happy there

WideWebWitch · 26/09/2007 12:23

I want this one with rolling ocean views

Take your point about upkeep, staff etc a pita

OP posts:
purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:23

ok if we're going to be sensible about it these are very nice and near me (not that I will be able to afford them in the next 20years!)

here

maybe here

i love looking at my dream houses so could be here all day

purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:24

oh yes would definately need a lot of staff with the first ones

WideWebWitch · 26/09/2007 12:25

Purpleflower, that reception room's a bit small thoguh

WideWebWitch · 26/09/2007 12:26

Imagine living somewhere called Shrubland Hall! I am liking these houses.

OP posts:
bran · 26/09/2007 12:26

This makes me laugh, beautiful location though.

I really like [[http://www.myhome.ie/search/property.asp?id=303190&np=&rt=search&searchlist= this] one, as my holiday home and this for my Dublin house.

bran · 26/09/2007 12:27

Pants, holiday home

WideWebWitch · 26/09/2007 12:27

Frogprincess, my dad used to have a friend who lived on sion hill in Bristol, it's lovely.

OP posts:
purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:28

I agree Wickedwaterwitch, I don't think I'd fit all my furniture in there

WideWebWitch · 26/09/2007 12:29

Oh bran I like your hol home
the castle is funny

OP posts:
purpleflower · 26/09/2007 12:32

Bran i really like the Dublin house and holiday house.

Could also see myself with the ocean view.

Sunshinemummy · 26/09/2007 12:37

WWW love the seaside house. Can just imagin being in front of that fire with a storm raging outside and spray hitting the windows.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 26/09/2007 12:40

city pad

francagoestohollywood · 26/09/2007 12:42

this one!!!

bran · 26/09/2007 12:46

FrancagoestoH, imagine how nervous you'd be living there with a couple of pre-schoolers. It's gorgeous though, I can't imagine doing mundane things there like sorting out my taxes or sewing a button on. If I lived there I would have to invest in new wardrobe of filmy clothing and spend my days wafting dramatically from room to room.

I love your ocean view house WWW, I could definitely see myself living there. I would particularly love the winter storms I think.
