as long as there is food, of course they would. Would only put me off if no food for the kids.

not too late, will give parents time to take the dc home and changed before coming to the party.

weekday or weekend ?

Stargazer · 17/09/2007 10:46

Seems like a good time to me. My DD and her friend have a joint party this weekend from 4 - 6pm, so all will be fed with tea and be entertained - so hopefully, when parents collect their DC - all will be happy, full and tired!!

The parents won't mind at all. Your kids will probably bug you all day asking if it's time for the party!!!

Sounds like a great time to me actually. I hate parties that run from say 2.30 or 3 to 4.30 - 5 because you feed your kids lunch before they go, then they are fed again at about 4 which is too early so they don't eat much, come home starving and want tea when they get back! Probably works well for those parents with little ones who need a nap beforehand as well, I remeber always having to drag ds2 out of his cot when little to drop ds1 to various parties.

It is a great time - middayish parties are a pita tbh. You can't really do anything in the morning and the party cuts the day in half. This way, they've had a free day and afterwards the guests go home straight to bath and bed (and sleep - depending on how much sugar they've had )
