A new branch of this danish clothes shop just opened near me and I just bought loads of stuff I would never normally wear!

Does anyone else wear this stuff?

Bought a great little black party dress (sadly my only one) from there a few years ago but the things I've seen on eBay recently are a bit odd.

I'm sure the stuff in the shop is great, people just getting rid of their mistakes on eBay. Lucky you!

posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:16

I have bought some quite unusual things - including a skirt with an embroidered net layer that ties over the top - it's a bit boho/hippy/kids dressing up box style.

The branch in my town has been open 2 weeks and is selling like mad so hopefully I will be seeing other people round here wearing that kind of look soon. Just not sure that many folk around here will understand the look. Not even sure if I do.

The dress I have is like this but in turquoise babycord mad dress
and this is the skirt \link{http://www.noa-noa.com/viewobject.php?id=1385&midx=2#/check out the socks!}

fairyfly · 09/10/2004 17:21

posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:21

Would probably be arrested as a spy round here if I tried this would you wear this?

OP posts:
posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:23

Fairyfly - glad you like it - my shopping trip was inspired by my 5 year old saying I look pretty in skirts - now worried I may look like a fairytale character

OP posts:
posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:24

the "would you wear this" relates to the pic on bottom row, 3rd from left

my linking skills are rubbish

OP posts:
posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:25

my skirt and the crazy socks are top row on right

fairyfly · 09/10/2004 17:26

gosh no, it is very stylish and elegant in my opinion, you will knock the other mothers to shame

fairyfly · 09/10/2004 17:28

I wouldn't wear the glaases and head scarf, looks like you have just left the plastic surgery clinic

posyhairdresser · 09/10/2004 17:52

Fairyfly thanks for the glasses & headscarf tip. Hopefully I will not be knocking the other mothers to shame as I don't want to be unpopular already although I expect round here they are more likely to feel sorry for me in a "have you raided the dressing up box?" sort of way.

If I have any lacks of confidence whilst wearing this gear I will think of you and do a little pirouette.

Enid - where do you find the girls stuff - is it in some UK shops?

And Beetroot - do you feel you need a bit of confidence to wear the stuff, or is it just me?!

DD has had some really nice stuff from them in the past. She had a gorgeous red coat that was pricey but reduced and lasted two winters.

I have a few bits.

muddleduck · 01/02/2009 20:20

I have a few lovely things from there including a much-loved pair of wellies

francagoestohollywood · 01/02/2009 20:33

I quite like it. I have a lovely knitted grey jumper.

francagoestohollywood · 01/02/2009 20:35

didn't realize it was an old thread

callalilies · 01/02/2009 20:38

ilovenoanoa if you want to advertise your shop on Mumsnet there is a fee. Don't resurrect old threads to do so.
