Please can you help with ideas?? Am Godparent to the child and would really like something he can have when he's older. Budget £100-200.
Thanks!

How about a small gift and something for his CTF. My neighbour got my son a beautiful WillowTree figuerine (SP) here

It did'nt cost an awful lot, but was so beautiful, I could hardly take my eyes of it for the next few days. Now I am actually going to start collecting them now to split btween my DS and DD when they are older.

The Denby factory shop will decorate a plate/mug/bowl with the name(s) and birthdate and decoration of your choice. All my grandchildren have a birth plate with an individual design on each, signed on the back by the decorator. I got all mine done at the Denby Pottery at Ripley, Derbys.

Book of Aesop's Fables - an alternative to a Bible (but still with the 'moral' message, as you are Godparent)

Wow. I'm spoilt for choice now!! DH mentioned that it's possible to buy/rent part of a vineyard and get the yield. Anyone know anything about this??

Hi - I was godparent recently and got a silver money clip with initials engraved on it. Parents both really liked it - just felt it was something simple, but practical for when he was older.
