I just thought I'd share this with you - last night, I got up in the middle of the night to toddle through to the bathroom, and fell asleep in the bathroom. I have a tendency to sleepwalk, so this would not normally cause too much of a problem - I would just wander back to bed. But dh was up, and he said he watched in amazement as I calmly walked smack into the wall, whacking my head off it! I woke up at that point with a real pain in my head! And I have a good bruise this morning. Anyone else done anything stupid?

dh & I are suffering from 'new baby addled brain' and currently living on convenience food...
Last night I gave him such a hard time for not removing the film off a couple of cotage pies before putting them in the (normal) oven... then tonight I happily served him up a pizza with a strange sticky white bottom- (had forgotton to remove polystyrene base) Going to get some sleep now....

Before I had my first child, a midwife warned me "They pull your brains out along with the placenta". Somebody told me that your brain gets back to normal after a few weeks. Hahahahahaha. Still waiting for mine to recover and youngest child is 3 and a half.

We've just moved house and now the microwave is right next to the fridge. I keep getting them mixed up and have to report that you cannot bake potatoes in a fridge. Nor is it any good looking in the microwave when you want the milk.

At the weekend I topped up the oil in the car but forgot to replace the filler cap. Proceeded to drive about 250 miles before realising it was missing. Oil all over engine. Oops.

www, thanks for the cautionary tale. I have a towel filled ottoman next to the loo. Might consider moving it now.

Do we have some budding 'fusion' chefs about not to mention some exotic eating locations? Is there a market for dual purpose furniture polish and deodorant? Not sure how we convert the toilet humour into something entrepeneurial. It's late I think I'm getting tired

Mmmmm - pregnancy brain! How soon does it affect you?
Yesterday I locked DS and me out of the house and car. Had to persuade a taxi driver to take us to a friend's house (purse and mobile phone inside our house) DH was 3 hours drive away on business so couldn't come to the rescue. Didn't know the landlord's number (diary inside house!). Did finally get in (5 hours later) but when I was cooking tea I couldn't work out why water for the veggies weren't cooking (put the wrong ring on - took me 20 minutes to work it out).
Then, I left the oven on all night and today left my purse in a shop.

I only did a pregnancy test on Monday!!!!!!!

I put the milk in the cupboard next to the fridge and found it a few weeks later. Yuck. Also, keep washing my face with hair shampoo..
