Bebecar Colours

I have got my old Bebecar Colours pram out of the loft to use for my baby (now 10 months old) as I like to have more than one pram/pushchair on the go!

Does anyone have any instructions, I have lost mine, of how to remove the seat cover to wash it. Can't remember and I am failing fast at getting it off, it definitely comes off though.

Thanks.

Bumblelion, if it is the same as the pram I have (not sure where my instructions are either) it's a Bebecar Colours on a Campus chassis (very bright and a bit embarrasing this time round, when all the new prams are chrome & black). I just undid all the poppers on the underneath of the seat unit and eventually all the fabric came off. I believe there are some bits that are handwash and some machine wash but everything survived a gentle (delicates cycle) machine wash. Putting it back together was like something out the Krypton Factor but we got there and it looks quite smart again. Not much help but it will come off.

I can't remember if the bar has to be removed to remove the seat cover. Can't seem to get it off and am not sure if it does come off.

Thanks Demented. Will try and again tonight.

Bumblelion, the bar does have to come off, my pram is not in the house just now unfortunately so I can't check but I think there is a button to release it if you feel around under the seat cover in that area. My pram has fabric on the bar and that also comes off for washing (undo the button on the front of it). I didn't realise the hood came off and washed it by hand with all the metal bits still on but discovered later if you fold the hood up so all the metal bits are together you can get the hood off for washing. If I find the instructions I will post them, however as you can probably tell I didn't have them when I cleaned my pram so the chances of finding them are slim. HTH.

Just thinking if there is not a button for the bar it must just be a case of pulling it off but it definately does come off.

Bumblelion, have you managed to get the covers off yet? I still have not come across the instructions but I have looked at my pram and there is definately a button on the arms (only way I can describe them) of the seat unit that join to the bar, the button is on the underside of the arms. A bit of a juggling act trying to press both buttons and remove the bar at the same time. HTH!
