Am I crazy to support him

My Husband has found out about a perfect job opportunity. It's almost as if it was designed just for him.
He is currently teaching in a really tough school and this is the perfect way out of it. The only problem is it would mean relocating to Hammersmith

After we got married I dragged him out of a really really good school up north down to Kent to be nearer my family and our friends.

Instinctively I've jumped and gone 'wow go for it!', but now as the facts sink in I'm starting to think it might be a crazy idea.

Money will be the same as he's on now so a slight drop in standards of living

We are currently ttc no2 so as he starts his new job I'd be left with a new baby

London seems like a really tough place to bring up a baby, is this true?

Does any one commute from Kent to Hammersmith?

Should I support him or tell him he has to be realistic?

I think he showed his commitment to you by moving away when you wanted to and you should be prepared to do the same for him.

If your a SAHM and ttc no 2, regardless of your location you are in the same situation - ie wont have to worry about maternity pay, length of service etc.

Cant imagine London being a tough place to bring up a baby, its the capital of the UK and you'll have access to lots of places to visit etc.

No experience of the commute, suppose you could do a dummy run and see how long it takes. However if its a long commute it means your OH will have less time to spend with the children after work.

I dont think he's being unrealistic at all, he did it for you so why would you not do it for him?

on a good day it's an hour and a half.
I just don't think we could afford to live in london or find any where nice to rent
