Just wondering if they're allowed to accept money donations.
Cheers

they do through national insurance contributions, they get billions of tax payers money, they also get pharma company bribes, conferences, holidays etc, the doctors are extremely well paid. Why don't you get them a plant?

A box of biscuits or similar is better - NHS surgeries are businesses, anyway.

do you mean a lrge ammount left in a will?

if so i would make sure it is specified it is for them, and anything thye could use it for.

i work in small nhs building and when we get left money it gets sucked into the big mixing bowl called the nhs, we cant use it on anything for our building

Sorry, more clarification LOL: Great Grandparents Diamond Wedding coming up, they want no gifts but want to donate for their local surgery who have 'been good to them.' I'm just doing a prototype invitation and wondering if it's actually possible. 60odd guests so will probably be in the 100s. Shall I just write 'to charity' so the GGPs can change their minds later?

you could speak to the surgery and ask them what would happen to the money..

or you could ask them if there is anything that they would like to make the surgery nicer

new pictures

childrens books

new tea making facilities for staff

big plants for waiting area...

etc etc

what a lovely idea these kind of people sometimes get forgotten ....

i was so chuffed when someone thanked me in the paper for the stuff i did for her late husband,
as an OT we do tend to get forgotten - dont know why, and i dont really mind as i love my job and i know i am providing a brill service for people.

but when i was publically thanked i was bowled over
