Underbite in babies

I don't know if there are any dentists around or anyone with experience of underbite in babies. I have discovered that my DD2 has quite a severe underbite, her bottom teeth completely cover her top teeth when she closes her mouth. Is this something that can change over time? What should/Can I do?

Phone a dentist and ask?

My son had this although possibly not to the same degree. Children's faces change as they grow older and you may find that her jaw moves back as her head grows. You could try osteopathy as they will ensure that everything is in the right place so that the jaw should move into its correct alignment as she gets older.

If you see a dentist, you will probably be told to wait a few hears. Then it would probably involve a brace.
