So, since my neighbours got one I'm thinking the 3 SmallDragons are neglected. Should I get them a 12 footer to keep up with the neighbours? Will they use it? Will it keep them out of my hair all summer (weather permitting)?

£200 or so from B&Q for trampoline, enclosure, ladder, anchors and cover.

i would have thought it was the total diamiter

the rectangle ones you take a foot off either way to get the bed size...

crunchie · 01/07/2007 17:16

the size is the whole size, we bought this one and it came in 2 or 3 days and is great. Took dh a couple of hours to put up, is very stable and takes him (18st) bouncing around the place.

One thing Ipersonally would NOT get a cheap one, they are more likely to break when you get pissed adults pplaying onit!!

Just a word of warning, rules that should be written in stone:

No somersaults.

No going underneath the trampoline at any time.

No climbing round outside the safety netting.

Sure there are more rules but can't think of them at the moment

Enjoy it, our dcs absolutely love it and youngest is 16 months

well i am too late cos you have already brought, but we got one last spring (now have a 4.9yo and 17mo) - they both love it. agree with biggest you can afford and fit, we have a 14ft one. don't need a ladder - a chair is best, especially with babydragon, my ds2 is the same age and would be straight up with a ladder, we use a garden chair - its easily removed and it gives a platform for climbing onto, getting off for younger ones. ds1 (4.9y) can just about get on without the chair now which is great, although he is tall.

if you have a sloping garden, consider having a pit dug and sinking it in, obviously more expensive - but if you are going to need leveling work anyway..
though - maybe wait until babydragon is a bit bigger for that - or keep the net closed so she can't get on anyway.
