Its not that I don't pay attention to what 10 month old DS2 is doing, but on opening the front door, there was
2 bricks
1 peek a boo block
2 socks
1 book
1 ball
1 shoe (mine)

And to think I was naive enuf to believe the cat flap was for the cat to come in and go out and the dog to stick her head out of to bark at innocent passers by

I am going to have to be very very careful - I can imagine all sorts of horrendous scenarios now he has discovered this!

fortunately we live in a cul-de-sac. But its quite a big cul de sac... And everyone looks anyway to see the dog's head come out, so I dare say it was a sight well seen!
The next installment will involve some strips of wood, a hammer and some nails

Heard this last night from a friend:

Friend: Hello, you called me to ask me to install a cat flap?
Lady: yes that's right
Friend: Didn't I install one for you already?
Lady: Yes but I've got another cat now

ROFL Miaou! The cat I grew up with, a very elegant Siamese, used to stretch up to use the knocker on the front door. Flaps were clearly not dignified enough...

Piffleoffagus · 28/08/2004 20:50

outside ours
4 soiled nappies
8 peek a blocks
one pair of DH's shoes
6 pieces of mail
one daily newpaper
one incredibly pissed off cat who could not get in due to dd's barrage of wares...
21 mths she is an addict...
for now socks do get put in the washing machine...

poppyseed · 28/08/2004 21:26

Plastic Rhino
one sock
not much today but it has been muuuuuch worse, believe me. Why is it they can push but not release without trapping fingers?? Admittedly DS is only 16 months, I suppose he has many months ahead of him in which to learn. Oh deep joy

Am giggling uncontrollably at the idea of your poor pissed off cat who can't get in, Piffle!
