What does the french word frimousse mean?

Its on a babies outfit I was given. It has a picture of a sort of dog and lots of nautical stuff too. Some of the words just say "petit mouse" and others say "Frimousse de petit mousse". Have tried babel fish and it says mousse is foam but nothing for frimousse. I did find it was some sort of wool and it also used perhaps for emoticons, but neither makes sense.

Is it a nice outfit? Who's it made by? Can you do a link?

Froth of little bubbles?

No French GCSE here

Its made by "3 pommes". The top is ok (with the nautical animal on it) but the matching navy dungarees are really nice and soft. But tiny. Its for a 12 mois but my 3 monther is ok in it

"But tiny. Its for a 12 mois but my 3 monther is ok in it"

That's because French babies don't get fat, doncha know. They stick to good red wine, the occasional espresso and cigarettes

Oh yes msa, I found a thing about emoticons - the academie francaise doesn't like foreign words being used in French and has nominated frimousse as a word for "smiley" - I suppose it sort of figures.

French baby clothes are tiny. French kids are tiny as well. DD (21 months) towers over 3-year old French kids. When she was born (over 4 kgs and 50 cms), the whole maternity ward staff came to see the giant baby
