Taking a child to a football match

Hi

With all this World Cup fever, my son says he wants to go to a football match. Glitterball
He's never been to one and I have not been for about 40 years.

What is the best way to go with a child to a single football match in the London area?

It needs to be:

Not on a Saturday
Not going on too late in the evening
Not too expensive

Is that do-able?
Do we need to become members of a club to go?
Are there "better" or "worse" seats?

His favourite club is Arsenal (but I don't think it is that really very important to him as he only switched from supporting QPR a few months ago). Our nearest big stadiums are Wembley, Tottenham and Arsenal.

He has a learning difficulty so we might be able to get some kind of discount on account of his being disabled?

I would welcome any advice as I feel like a total newbie in this area.

Thanks
Jon

QPR would be a lovely one to go to actually. Quite a small ground and really really family friendly.

When does the season start?

Charlton are supposed to be super family friendly, no experience myself though.

Thank you. I will check it out.

We liek QPR club - we really appreciated the work the Junior Trainers at QPR do with children with Down Syndrome running "Tiger Cubs" football sessions.
