Summer houses - All year round?

We are thinking about getting a summer house. We would have underfloor heating and wonder if it could be used all year round?
Does anyone have one they use?
Are they warm enough?
TIA

Sorry Katiemac, can't help. Our garden is the size of a postage stamp so def no room for a summer house. Would love one though and am very jealous

It would depend on how you access the summer house - if it's across a cold wet muddy garden, I would imagine the appeal is limited. You may need additional insulation to keep the heat in.

If you lay a proper path from kitchen/the house to the summer house you are more likely to use it in the winter - in fact you could probably make it very cosy and rather nice. Would it have electricity?

Yes hopefully it will have electricity, underfloor heating, a WC and a kitchenette. I've already allowed for extra extra insulation and it will be very easily accessable from the house - I'm hoping to childmind in it(!)
