We have just had a fake letter from the Council through the door...most odd

Asking us to remove some rubbish from the front of the house

We were initially most irate because we have ben trying to get the council to pick up this stuff for us for about 3 months (looooong story)

Then we realised that the letter was printed on a poorly scanned copy of a council letterhead-no name, no dept, nothing. Also addressed to "The Occupiers" when they bloody know who lives where we live. And sent by post (council sends franked mail)

am oscillating between and being upset that one of our neighbours has done this (am assuming its a neighbour).

ps its not a vast amount of rubbish. Its a small carpet and its only actually been there about two weeks, the council agreed to collect and then didn't.

it is upsetting tbh to receive an anonymous letter...especially if you like your neighbours. i really hope that if any of mine had an issue they would just come over and ask. when my next door neighbour moved out she really slated me to anyone she bumped into and i had no idea why!! she told people i would give her filthy looks and giggle about her with another neighbour every time she walked into her house, i had honestly never said a bad word about her to anyone! i used to sit in the garden with another neighbour and we were often laughing...but why on earth would neighbour think it was about her?

oh thanks all, am feeling

I am really, really upset here

I don't know how long the stuff has been there. The letter says "a few weeks". I can't imagine it would be more than 2 weeks really.

its fine, twig, i knew you were joshing. Am feeling and prickly about this.

I THINK I know who it is-esp as its a photocopier, not a scanner. Car-bumping man and his cronies (not actually our street, next one along) organised a campaign to stop doorstop recycling in our neighbourhood and we were vociferous against it. He IS a nutter. If he is still alive...oh he hits small kids with his walking frame too.

I am for you, it is unreasonabe to receive an anonymous letter and unreasonable to be told you deserved it.

Personally, I think anyone who goes to this much bother over a bit of carpet needs to Get. A. Life. And sharpish.
I think you should pity them, can see why you're upset tho'. I'd be

have just realised summat

I THINK my street MIGHT be on dr who soon

have looked at trailer and house with things blown out of it looks eerily like one on my road

if SO then-oooh, you never know, you might all get to SEE the extent of my naughty carpet littering (oh no you won't actually, its behind a dry stone wall but...hmm you will see that it is no HIGHER than a 1 metre high dry stone wall)

just think of your neighbour, slaving over a hot pc trying to get the exact logo right. they've spent a lot of time and effort over that you know!
