Anyone remember Chelsea Girl?

I loved it as a kid. In the 80s my friends Dolores, Beth, and I went down to the local Chelsea Girl (so COOL!) and bought fluorescent fingerless gloves and matching pencil-thin belts. We thought we looked so HOT! Anyone else shop there as a kid?

i wore mine EVERY friday night to the under 18's disco called 'Lips'. it had a huge pair of rubber lips shaped round the bar

Oh I too had a puffball skirt - a black one - from Chelsea Girl

And before it was Chelsea Girl the chain was called Lewis Separates. I got my first "grown up" mini skirt from there. [must find my zimmer frame]
It is now River Island.

i did work experience at richard shops. it was VILE.
