Hi everyone. I hope i have put this in the right place!
I have been trying to conceive for a while, and using a trackers app, we had intercourse on my predicted ovulation day just over 2 weeks ago. I was due on yesterday but still haven't started yet, so fingers crossed its good news. My question is, this close to Christmas, do I take a test on my own and if positive share the news on Christmas day. Or is doing the test, the waiting and the finding out part of the process that should be done together?
TIA

The day i was due on i got all the pains you get when you have your period but some how i just knew left it about 4 days still no show so did a test on my own then just casually went to show my mum as the 2nd line was very faint i was on my own from the start anyway so this is why i took the test on my own rang the babys dad and told him i think it'll be more special to share the test together if you are to be pregnant

When I got pregnant I started vomitting within days so by the time we decided to test DP and I sort of knew already. I wanted to share the moment of finding out with him though so I poas, left it in the bathroom, went and did other stuff and we checked it together a few minutes later.

It's personal to every couple. The idea of presenting the test as an early Christmas gift sounds lovely!
