I was cleaning my cooker today and decided enough was enough i need to replace the old thing, however i don't really have the money right now to pay for it but i will do in September does anyone know of a buy now pay later scheme any of the major stores are doing? preferably at 0% interest too (like what DFS do)

I thought that comet, curries etc did them. But make sure you can pay back by the time the interest free bit is up or else they will charge you a fortune.

I find that nowadays you have to open up a 'store card' in electrical shops and furniture places.
I recently bought a new bed. I had to 'open an account' to get it. Basically you put the money on a 'pretend credit card' for the amount of time they are offering - ie 3months - 12 months and pay some off each month when the statement comes through or pay it all off at end of the term. They are hoping you will reuse the card at a later date, but you can chop it up.

I usually save the money in an isa then pay it off at the end, that way I gain some interest on the money.

why can't you wait till September?

I mean, is it actually broken/ dangerous/ on fire?

wait till you actually have the cash imho

Thanks

It is soooo old! So obviously not very energy efficient either. It was my inlaws before it was ours and i'm just sick of looking at it - i actually didn't realise how grubby it was until today and although i gave it a good clean it is still really YUK!
