cats and foxes keep ripping up our rubbish bags and spreading the rubbish all over the garden. we no need a large wheelie bin to accommodate a weeks worth of rubbish. Any idea where we can get/buy one. Thanks.

I agree B&Q or similar. Have you tried your local council? We didn't used to have wheelie bins but if you wanted you could get one with a brown lid from the council for garden waste. Does your council maybe do this and you could use it for your rubbish until bin day?

i would check with ur local council as if we have a bin without the council stamp they wont empty it

We had exactly the same problem, compounded by rats and birds. I bought a wheelie bin from here . I searched online and they seemed to be the cheapest. I got a bright red one so that people wouldn't be tempted to steal it and I thought it looked a little more stylish than the boring green/black council ones.My dh had a little word with the bin men and told them our plight and they agreed to take the rubbish from the wheelie bin (even though they aren't supposed to). I suppose they figured it was better than trying to collect torn rubbish sacks. We put the wheelie bin on the drive the night before collection day.

I'm pretty sure we got the 140 litre one and that's perfect for the rubbish for a week for a family of 4 with one child still in nappies.
