Does anyone know of any websites which sells cool art which would look good in a nursery?

I haven't made my mind up on any themes or anything yet. I just want something that is original.

funny you should say that about the toys...I've got two on the go for MNers!

now, to answer your questions:
i paint in acrylic or water colour
I can also do charcoal, pastel, pencil...etc.
I've never been very good at painting people. sorry.

hope this helps!

have you got any ideas about what you could do for a nursery then?

i guess it depends really. do you have a theme for the room? i can do various forms of transport (cars, trucks, trains boats etc) or jungle theme (lions tigers and bears...oh my!)
i'm currently doing one for my DS that's a cartoony version of him and our dog.
or stuff from nursery rhymes etc.
does that help?

i like the idea of a cartoony version of your ds. when you've finished could i see what it looks like. isnt it funny how lots of people can draw cartoon people but not "real" people. i on the other hand can barely draw stick men!

drawing real people is hard cause if it doesn't look like the person it's glaringly obvious wehereas as long as you can kind of see who the cartoony person IS then you'[ve succeeded!!
