Whenever you like, you don't need to wait for injections ro anything BUT some swimming pools won't allow them until after 3 months, so I would check with them first.

After their first 2 oris it 3 sets of injections. Ring the pool and ask what their policy is, if in doubt.

its the communal outdoor pool where we live (in singapore) so no policy

some say after first immunisations but others soon as soon as you want. I usually wait until first injections so 2mths old.

The reason some ppols don't like it is here , it's not a problem unless you are unsure of the cleanliness of the water. So if it is clean and maintained then I would say go for it. DD was in the pool from about 6 weeks.

thanks for that link. i really dont know how often our pool is cleaned/maintained. but everyone who uses it is an expat and there are few of us. i would say on that score it is cleaner than a public pool because of the few people that use it. but like i say, not sure about it's maintenance schedule

the main potential problem for tiny babies and swimming is them getting too cold so I would check the temperature of the water and then only stay in for 10 minutes or so at first.
