Do I need a carpenter or a flat pack assembly guy?

We've decided to buy our DD's the TP wooden climbing frame kit and the guy in John Lewis said it would take two of us two days to assemble.

DH and I are pretty useless when it come to things like this, we have no useful family nearby, plus a job like this isn't going to be ideal with two toddlers muscling in on the act so we reckon we need help.

So would it be best to get a carpenter to put it up or one of those companies that assembles flat pack furniture?

I am new to my area so don't know any local handymen that could help out - tho if anyone does (Stevenage / WGC area) that would be great.

Aww, thanks misdee. I think it's OK to hijack my own thread to ask how Peter's doing? Haven't been on MN for a while.

Carpenter would charge a carpentry rate but does it also need to be cemented into the ground?

Would flat-packers take care of that too?

Handyperson sounds like the way to go ...

Sorry to hear that misdee - hope he's feeling better soon.

lionhart - aparently it doesn't need cement (according to the guy in John Lewis) although MNers have said it does.
