We are in Australia, and my medised supply is dangerously low. With a teething, coldy baby, panic is not far away. Bil is getting all scaredy about sending some (he has no children, he doesn't know understand my need). Surely it is not illegal?! Crappy Australian pharmacies stocking nothing even close....

found this on the royal mail website:

Prescription and over-the-counter medicines
Prescription and over-the-counter medicines can be sent, provided these are:

  1. sent with Royal Mail's prior approval
  2. supplied lawfully
  3. sent subject to conditions, including as to the type of medicines that may be sent, and by whom to whom
  4. sent in suitable tamper-proof packaging
  5. sent by Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery.
Please note: this only applies to customers who are sending large quantities and in a regular basis. Customers sending on an ad hoc basis do not need to contact us.

so it looks like you have no problems, since it isn't a regular, large scale thing.

Ah, thanks Kelly! Appreciate that. Will cut and paste for him

I get shipments of OTC meds from the US all the time.

I don't know or care if it's legal.

Big sigh of relief from across the globe - he sent it today! Horrah from me, and horrah from ds2
