Any birdy people about? Overnight, it seems, a mysterious nest has appeared in the middle of the garden....

A dry grass and feather nest, on the ground, with 8 very pale blue eggs about the size of big hens eggs. Any ideas?

Reckon they are Grey heron eggs . They would have been blown out of a tree.

It seems they are mallard eggs. The mother hasn't come back though
