WOOHOO its the school holidays, what you going to do?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the school holidays
Got loads of stuff planned.
Today DS2 and I are off to get Easter eggs for our Easter egg hunt, also going to see a film, swimming, off to Windsor, big family Easter and loads more.

Not a place that we Brits naturally think of as a holiday destination. Don't know why, its so nice.

He is ok, back homeo nhigher dose on morphine. Me, I am full of cold, sound like a 50 a day smoker, but still going.

I'll tell you why i want to go... theres a buggy i like....

Tell me more about this buggy - I am a pramaholic too, and love nothing better than buggy shopping when visiting my parents in Holland. (they panic because they think I am pregnant )

Is he OK with the morphine? Dh was fentanyl patches, which don't send him loopy.

Also they only have to be changed every 3 days.

If peter isn't good on morphine (and dh wasn't) it might be a good alternative

just looked up the patches, they wont work with the other medication he is on.

its a mountain buggy urban in fifties

because he is on amiodarone which keeps his heart rate steady he cant use the patches. side effect5s can also affect the heart rate. he says he doesnt want any more shocks from his ICD.

hows the hot tub?

oh yes amioderone is a swine regarding interactions. Good stuff but it interacts with so many things. I used to dread having requests for info from people using amioderone when I was in medical info. I used to pass them onto the medical director!

Hot tub is fab, and will be soaking in it soon!

yes, and everything interacts with warfarin as well.

have been really jumpy today when the phone rings. arrgh.

Amioderone has such a long half life as well.

as if you don't have enough to put up with !

we'll muddle through, we have been for years now. 2 years on the list, 5yrs with this illness.
