Ds and I have a game about pirates where I am called Bluebeard and he is called "Jogfus"

It basically involves talking in bad pirate voices and saying "Ahaaaaargh, treasure!" an awful lot.

He also likes to be a black labrador called Sarah

ok the cuddle shop
used to do it with ds when he was diddy. ask for a cuddle then fold arms and they open them and they are all different shops(,toy sweets, empty) till you get bored and it'sthe cuddle shop.

2cute, 2shoes .

My DS's favourite thing at the moment is for me to hold him then spin round and round as fast as possible until we feel sick (well, I do anyway). He screams with laughter, then when I put him down, he staggers about till he falls over, still giggling (he's almost 1)

so this is going to sound bad - but 2yrold dtwins often have to be told 'one more minute of nudey bouncing and then you HAVE to get in the bath' they coined the term for bouncing on the bed naked and i can imagine that it feels pretty great !!!

My family plays a game where you pretend to steal each other's brain. It involves a ritual of pretending to unzip their head (zip noise), removing the brain (horsey clip-clop noise with your tongue), eating the brain (smacking of lips), swallowing the brain (swallow noise) and then rubbing your tummy. If you manage to swallow the other person's brain (only counts if you make all the correct noises and actions), then you are 'the greatest' with two brains. Weird, and a bit ghoulish, I know. A boyfriend told me about his family's similar game: you had to try to get through a song about a chicken which ended with: '...said the chicken to the eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-egggggggg'. The eh-eh-eh bit involved going up and down octaves. The aim was to get through this song before the other person interrupts by flapping their 'wings' (arms) and making a 'buk-buk' noise. Ultimate kudos if you did. I think both games relay on an element of surprise!

The pirate game sounds great - for playing with children or adults! I'm not sure about the labrador one though...

we play a game called scrambots.
ds1 made up the word when he was just 3.
it involves small children jumping on and falling off acrouched parent.
usually parent is crouching to pick something up off floor, or something else equally useful. Small boy notes the parent, shouts scrambots and jumps on... , not my favroite, i prefer when he wants to play dominos- nobody ngets hurt

DD likes to play hide and count.

It involves her grabbing a blanket, insisting that either me or DP count, whilst she hides - under the blanket of course.

not quite got the hang of hide and seek yet....

They also play at being dogs....

We are reaching a terminal velocity of cuteness here ...
