Another lighthearted thread here This is what I've just learnt:

Disposable Nappies Do Not Wash Well.

Have just accidentally picked up a pair of (clean!) pullups with the laundry and put them through the washing machine. The mess is indescribable...

PamT

We did get it sorted out.

The problem was that when this happened it was about the 20th time it had tripped the circuit breaker and she still hadn't learned not to put them all on.

She was not in my good books that day.

PamT · 27/06/2002 20:22

It just goes to show that a woman can do 3 things at once whilst a man can only do one........

Does this constitute sexual harrassment and if so are you enjoying it? LOL

PamT · 27/06/2002 20:26

I should have added that the last posting was for the benefit of SimonHoward who implied on another thread that he would quite like to be sexually harrassed on this site, all in the nicest possible way of course.

SimonHoward · 28/06/2002 09:02

PamT

This wouldn't even count as mild harrasment let alone sexual harrasment.

It is a known fact that women are better at multitasking, safer drivers and live longer. But I think you need help when it comes to sexually harrasing men (nicely of course).

PamT · 28/06/2002 09:28

Oh well, I'll try harder next time!

CAM · 28/06/2002 14:06

PamT you're flirting quite shamelessly with SimonHoward - wonder if Mrs SH reads this...

CAM · 28/06/2002 14:09

And just so as I'm not accused of sexism: SimonHoward you're flirting quite shamelessly with PamT, wonder if Mr PamT reads this.....

PamT · 28/06/2002 14:10

Its the old bored housewife bit, together with a bit of attention seeking. I sometimes wonder if I have turned invisible at home - except when they all want something.

PamT · 28/06/2002 14:11

CAM, I didn't know whether to be offended or not when I read your first message and then I saw the one to SH too so I feel a bit better now. LOL

CAM · 28/06/2002 14:22

PamT you must never be offended by anything I say, always imagine I am saying it in a friendly jokey voice with a big smile on my face, it's just that my humour comes across deadpan online. I wish someone would flirt with me.

PamT · 28/06/2002 14:27

Cam, I hoped that was the case, I often sit here grinning too and much of what is said is tongue in cheek. At least on-line flirting isn't really doing anyone any harm. I know that DH flirts with some of the women he works with in a jokey way, I don't think he would ever intend it to go any further, so I don't mind. If it helps us smile then it has to be a good thing.

SimonHoward · 28/06/2002 14:54

PamT and Cam

Flirt away.

DW knows I flirt, I flirt with her the most but I find it is the easiest way to get on with members of the other sex is to flirt a bit.

I do try not to over do it though as people might get the wrong idea.

PamT · 28/06/2002 15:41

Glad we've got that one sorted and everyone's happy. Perhaps we should start a please first with me thread, it would lift everyone's spirits.

SimonHoward · 28/06/2002 17:39

So long as spirits are all that are raised and not eyebrows.
