My bro will probably use IinterF and don't want her to end up with the same bunch

M&S, JLewis and Sainsburys flowers are all good according to my MIL (an ex-Florist )

wheelybug · 12/03/2007 18:41

john lewis tend to be good

indiajane · 12/03/2007 18:43

I had a dreadful time with Sainsburys - the flowers didn't turn up and they couldn't explain why!

Gave me a free bunch in the end but the surprise was ruined. Spent about an hour (literally) on the phone to them sorting out - really wouldn't recommend!

just went on JL site - big bar at top says you can order until Thursday but then little box has dates that are unavailable for delivery - nothing until Monday How misleading is that????

I've had good experiences with M&S and Tesco

Clayhead · 12/03/2007 18:49

M&S have always been good when I've used them for flowers/wine etc.

Blackduck · 12/03/2007 19:07

These people are great - and deliver on time...this

louiselouise · 14/03/2007 12:42

Just ordered flowers from Tesco. It cost £21 but used a £5 discount voucher from www.tesco1.co.uk to take it down to £16.
The code worked even though it said valid on orders over £25.

twinsnikki · 14/03/2007 13:01

Hiya Compo,

I order mine from a web shop called Bunches. Really good value and they do an ipoint system, bit like nector points or tesco rewards that you can spend.

Very reliable...

Bunches.co.uk - Bunches florapost..

Check it out...excellent service and the throw in little extras, like boxes of chocs...

Whenever I want to send flower to someone who doesn't live near me (either UK or overseas) I just find a florist online who is local to the recipient, and phone them up and ask them to deliver something. They are usually independently owned so put effort into putting together which is nice/in your price range etc. I've even done this when I wanted to send flower to people in North America. Hope this helps.

Beetrootccio · 14/03/2007 13:02

call the local forist

Ceolas · 14/03/2007 13:03

Everybody's busy because of Mothers' Day. I wanted to get flowers for my sister who's just moved into a new house. Can't get delivery til next Tues

twinsnikki · 14/03/2007 13:04

www.bunches.co.uk/ [grin} - give them 5 ***

Iota · 14/03/2007 13:48

Ceolas -I have just ordered from M&S and they have delivery from 15th March available

Annner · 14/03/2007 20:34

Another vote here for M and S. Flowers seemed to last longer and be moreforthespondoodlies than John Lewis.

I've used Crocus in the past and they were good. I think you can link to them from the MN shopping page too.

pointydog · 14/03/2007 21:17

I've used tesco twice and was happy with them

Try Postabloom, got a brand new range of Luxury Valentines Day Flowers not too pricey and very efficient
