In what months were your DC born/due ?

Lots of people I know seem to have children around the same time of year so just wondered if there was a pattern ? Probably not but just thought I'd see.

I'll start -

DD - January
PG2 - was due March (but m/c)

Mine are pretty well spaced throughout the year lol..

dd1 August (due Aug)
dd2 January (due Dec)
dd3 October (due Oct)
dd4 February (due Jan)

dd1 due june born june
dd2 due late april born may
dd3 due late april born may

bfp.....due nov.....

All 3 born in Feb, 2 even had same due date of 14th feb. Neither came on that day though!

There are more babies born in April and September than any other time. Due to summer holidays and Christmas/New Year.
My ds was born in April last year and the maternity ward was manic, the midwives said that April is always very busy.

If there are families where all the children are born at roughly the same time I wouldn't be surprised if you found that often the parents wedding anniversary or birthdays were 9 months before.

DS1 and DD born in same week in September, also the week of my mum's and my sister's! (I hate that week)
DD was a drunken christmas night out too!

DS2 born August, really wanted him eaelier in year but took ages to conceive him!

my two were both born in summer

my freind has 3 children all born in august all within weeks of each others birthdays

we do have sex in the warmer months honest

Ds was born in August during a little heatwave.
Dd was born i December whilst it was freezing.

Fwiw, my two do seem to conform to the saying about winterbabies always being ill. Ds is hardly ever ill, is chunky, pink cheeked, ruddy and healthy looking. Dd is pale, pasty, continually has a cold and runny nose, and gets every virus going...

Alright, so if there was an event 9 months before, confess, and confirm wheelybugs theory: Here's mine (and yes we do the deed all year round but there must be some magical ingredient in chamapagne by the look of it )

2 - due Mar, born Feb
3 - well I'm kind of hoping for due Nov, born Nov (but trying not to obsess )

OK for those interested in my (very scientific) experiment. So far there are:

16 people with children born within 3 months

8 not

(clearly I have bent the rules to support my theory so those with 3 or more I have taken a majority).

ds#5 not out yet but due May.

Incidentally my sister and Dad are all July birthdays! Very busy month, avidly avoided it for other dc!

(DS1 was conceived on my birthday - I saw him as an egg on a scan earlier that day )

know what you mean as there seem to be alot of babiees of exactly the same age as ds at toddler group and none at all between 8 months to just under 2..... seems odd

dd and ds share the same birthday in June (conceived around or on exh's bday

the dts were due april, born march. I conceived them moving house. It was all brand new, so we had a whole block of flats to ourselves for a bit, and a key to the neighbouring one. We had some fun then!

damn.. all the new posts DISPROVE my theory.. apart from Kelly's - same day wow but with having twins as well I guess that makes things fair (but think that might be too much information on their conception )!

December, May and September. Just need a spring baby and I will have covered all seasons - lol!
