Move without a doubt (yes it IS easy to make decisions for other people!)
More space, nearer family, less cliquey (always good), less rent - in fact everything you first mentioned really! Don't let the decor sway you at all (or the broadband ) - easily remedied - may take time but you've got it haven't you? IMO if you are seriously considering it then you've got reasons to move.
You're not even moving to a town you don't know are you - Oh go for it - you know you want to really!!!

From what you have said already I think you already know what you want to do.

I think you want to move but you are scared to make the decision.

I would go for it if I was you, but then again I move every few years anyway.

I'm a strong believer in fate. If these small things start falling into place (like the response you had from ds) then you should go for it.

Have you decided Mellowma?

Chandra · 19/02/2007 10:53

The last thing I can say is that, even with all the positives about moving people has mentioned here are still in doubt, so... I think you should stay put, if after all that you are not yet sure moving is a good idea, perhaps, it isn't.

I knew there was something else! , but with so much positive feedback pro moving, I would think that at least now, you are clearer about the benefits and, maybe, take the plunge.

If arrears is an issue, imagine how much you would save on after school clubs, transport, rent, etc. Paying those arrears may be an investment that would end up saving you lots of money in the near future.

Hope that helps

yes, move.

Your good points are VERY good points

More space as not a bungalow (like this one)
closer to parents/family
closer to shops so would have somewhere to go if bored (unlike here)
Park right out back of house
Could buy it
Cheaper Rent (by £100 per month)
School & Nursery - 5 mins walk
People not as nosy as where we currently are.

Cheaper rent and chance to buy swing it - good for future. How old is DS1?

MamaG · 19/02/2007 16:43
