Don't know tbh. Can you ring the manufacturer and ask who they might recommend or ring the service number in your instruction book.

if the other fuel is gas then YES

But when we had a corgi engineer to sort out boiler a few years ago we had to organise an electrician to do the electrical stuff. I thought corgi men were plumbers and not elctricians...

Manufacturers call out charge is £90 +parts + labour. I am certainly not ringing them.

Only if gas is involved. I think you need to look for electrical appliance repairs in yellow pages and ring a few people and ask them their opinion.

Yeah I have an electrica engineer that has told me they don't need to be corgi registered because they won't have to touch the gas - which makes sense to me. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being fobbed off...

Corgi engineers are NOT plumbers!!!!

Some plumbers are also CORGI gas engineers and vice versa but gas is its own skill.

Our main service guy also holds a certificate which entitles him to do certain electrical stuff like wire a time clock but we work in conjunction with an electrical firm anyway.

Go for someone electrical first the if the gas is affected they will tell you.
