Surprisingly yes Fancy. He's playing a slightly dodgy builder. He's also had his top off already... I've seen this one before but can't remember if he makes it to the end of the episode. There's generally a very high body count and we've only had one so far.

Right - domestic duties call - no relaxation here i'm afraid LetUs (apple wine has been sieved for DS (who probably shouldn't have been chainsawing that tree with his back in it's current state), some windfalls have been juiced (yum!) and now I need to unload the washing machine and make beds. Hurrah for domestic drudgery excitement

LOADS of fireworks and no rain around here. Just got back from really great fireworks. It was by the canal so lots of river types who are a bit feral know how to throw a party. Actual fireworks were so-so but there was an epic bonfire and a great atmosphere. Made me all homesick for easternspanishtown but in a good way.

letus ooooh we just started House of Cards it is amazeballs. Kevin Spacey incredible. Anyone seen it? I may start West Wing after...starting to get a bit obsessed with US political drama a lot better than reality

House of cards is awesome...I don't really think it got any better after the massive shock at the end of season 1 says nothing more but it's definitely worth a watch.
Whereas west wing just got better and better as season after season imo. Season 3 and 4 prob best.

helen ds enjoyed the fireworks and also has had a really good first week at school, ty. He seems to be settling in great and we're really pleased too, it seems so much less wanky and uptight than his old school.

It's soooo weird hearing all about Bonfire night and not being part of it. No fireworks here, nor bonfires. It's beautifully sunny and warm and we had a cracking rugby watch and barbecue last night. Cobber.

Snorted about health and safety Madame, I was in Italy on New Years Eve once and the kids were literally throwing fireworks in the street. Unnerving. Luckily I was ver' ver' drunk (Fast Show).

Fancy . Have also made protein mix muffins which are hard like rubber balls but good for my gym bunny. Personally I think they're horrible. Also by popular demand made a big Apple Pie cos I usually do one for Bonfire night tea. Cheated with pastry as couldn't be arsed. Turned out I'd bought puff by mistake but it was lush none the less. Just even bigger than planned.
