following on from previous thread, I realise I have no many idea how many toys is quite a lot

I know its all inverse snobbery but....gwan and humour me

mine have 2 crates between 2 of them and a jumble of ride ons, bikes and so forth. Oh and a wendy house thing.

and yes they have books but that doesn't count, does it? they all have books.

Far too many.

DS is 5 and has about 200 cars alone! He was car obsessed till about 6 months ago.

We are about to move house so am about to do a cull.

winestein · 04/02/2007 07:41

Not enough.
Happy now?

Inside:
DS (2) has 8 (small) baskets:
2 with cars and trucks
1 with bricks and blocks
1 with figures and animals
1 with duplo
1 with sticklebricks
1 with "musical" instruments
1 with general otherworldly stuff

1 plastic box with an ikea train set
1 shelf of jigsaws
1 shelf of books
2 baskets of books
1 firemans helmet (v important)

1 ride on motorbike

Upstairs:
1 moses basket with the handles taken off of assorted rubbish to keep him entertained whilst upstairs

Outside:
2 cars
1 ride on quad bike (not powered or the like you understand)
small trampoline
1 seesaw
1 tricycle with handle
1 sandpit
1 Little Tikes adventure castle thing with slide
1 slide
In my defence mi lud, I was given all of the outside things by a friend and yes, I do have a reasonably big garden.

Not too bad, is it???

God thats NOTHING ws

sounds like what you need is a small clanger...

(oh the wool finally arrived yesterday...bloody Kangaroo...)

Have I been absolved? Excellent

It's weird you should say that about the clanger as I do have one on order from a very kind Mumsknitter (Is the clanger going to be knitted from kangaroo wool then? [dim, slighty googly eyed emoticon])

Fillyjonk · 04/02/2007 08:21

oh yes MNtts who knit clangers are very kind and also very pretty

pmsl its cashmere and other stuff. its called Sublime and its pink, obviously.

With the power vested in me by...me....I hereforth absolve you

Oh they are, they are
Some have a penchant for clown necklaces too....

Fillyjonk · 04/02/2007 08:26

The only thing my DS (5) doesn't have is a knitted clanger and I have to say that sounds rather charming.
No hope of absolution here. DS's list is very much like Bozza's boy, and with a lot more as well:
Don't wake dad game
Scooby doo haunted house game
Marble Run
4 (yes 4) Hot Wheels track sets
Mousetrap
Rumble in the Jungle
Rebound
Batman lego
Crunching crocodiles
Hungry hippos
Tumbling monkeys
And lots of others. Shameful really.
