check out Mothercare online or Kiddicare type site for one you have or similar & you should get dimensions & weight.

wanderingstar · 28/01/2007 17:57

I'd guess around 10 kilos if all they want is a ball park figure.

i will nip up and stick mine on the scales for you

lemonaid · 28/01/2007 18:03

Most were arond 12-14 kg, I think. As Jbck says, if you can find the one you have in a catalogue or online it should give the weight.

Oati · 28/01/2007 18:04

some weights here on these test reviews

foxtrot · 28/01/2007 18:04

Mine is just under 10 kilos, i think it is quite a heavy one, so if you'd said 10kg you wouldn't be far out.

Mothercare gives the weight of their travel cots. I think ours is about 9 kg.

Thanks everyone

Is it really that light foxtrot? I was guessing closer to 18kg - saw one weighing that online and guessed they were all pretty much the same!!

We recently took ours on a plane so it was weighed at check in - I think it was just over 10kg (about 11kg).

Wheelybug · 29/01/2007 08:20

that was without the changing bit and baby bassinet. I.e. just a basic frame and mattress.

Maybe my scales are wrong! Mine's quite old but it looks like this which is also 10kg.

zephyrcat · 30/01/2007 13:11

I put 18kg on the form and when the courier came he said "oh, is that it?? I was expecting something huge" Sounds like you were right with 10!
