Well i have had the weirdest week of my life, thats all i can say. I don't know where my feelings are just now and i really appreciate the fact i am learning new life skills. I woke up with a man doing bad things to my lady and his pants down, he had broke in. I had invited him in earlier in the night and asked him to leave.

I thought about you only yesterday, as you haven't posted much lately. Sounds like an absolutely terrible situation. Have you seen the man around since? Seem to remember he lives nearby.

Had you both had too much to drink? Not looking to make excuses for his behavior AT ALL!! But, wonder if you can put his inexcusable actions down to severe impairment of judgement due to drunkeness? And therefore a one off? Or do you think his behavior has got the potential to be something ongoing, and thus more sinister and worrying?

What sort of life skills are you learning by this situation? Hang in there, and stay strong. Hopefully this next week will be better.

Freckle · 06/06/2004 08:39

What a dreadful experience. I should think it's put you off the dating scene for good - although you shouldn't let one prat's behaviour affect you in that way.

Did I read that, having scared him off, he came back the following day? Is he stupid or what?

I hope you come out the other side of this stronger and with good spirit - because you have done nothing wrong.

Fairyfly · 06/06/2004 09:50

Yes he had been drinking, i won't excuse his behaviour because of that. He may drink again, he was still able to walk and talk. At what point i wonder after drinking you decide it is perfectly normal to force open a window, clear up any mess and sneak around a womens house until you find her in a childs bedroom.
He did come round the next day, apparently i had left my milk out.

Fairyfly, I replied to your other thread, but in case you miss it I'll copy the message here:

Fairyfly I am glad to see you back - it must have been really awful - I would think that the re-living the moment all the time afterwards would be as bad as the event itself. He sounds really weird and I am glad that he was a coward and ran away when you got up and shouted (well done for that - I always fear that I would freeze).

Be kind to yourself and take care,
sis

Fairyfly · 06/06/2004 13:19

Thanks Sis, i am trying to relive the moment so i don't hide it somewhere and go insane.

EarlyBird, i have learnt that even when you feel like giving up, you shouldn't. I have learnt to stand up for myself and decide i will not be treated like crap anymore. I have learnt to take the control back.

Good to see you back on MN FF, I've missed you. I'm so glad the police are taking such a strong stance on it, I hope he gets some jail time for what he has done to you.
I'm so impressed by your courage and your strength, you hang on in there

Ff glad that he has admitted two out of the three charges at least that means the police will take it seriously and the panic button sounds like a good idea.

Am in work tomorrow. Speak soon.

mammya · 06/06/2004 22:54

FF, have answered on your other thread, will repeat here. Glad you're back, what a horrible thing to happend. Hope you're feeling better. It's very good the police are involved and taking it all so seriously. Take care.

OP posts:
agy · 07/06/2004 13:57

You're a woman aren't you - we feel guilty about everything sooner or later. Definitely doesn't mean its your fault in any way.

Fio2 · 07/06/2004 14:01
