Have recently got Sky, well ds and hubby have, football, football and more football. Aaaaagh.

I know nothing except that there are zillions of channels; anyone have any recommendations for good programmes worth checking out for either kids or me.

I was dying to see the series on The Osbournes on MTV (as in Ozzy 'I fancy a bathead for breakfast' Osbourne. Apparently it's been bigger than Big Brother in the States but has been pulled from MTV UK for some reason.

I think it's starting this friday now!

My vote goes for Buffy and Angel too. SofiaAmes -surely you can't be bored with the last few weeks of Buffy? About time the current series "kicked ass" as it was getting a tad dull. Angel is even more ridiculous - but equally addictive, though think DB was cuter in his Buffy days. Oh and yes Spike is American. Not sure about gay though.

Also E4 for Sex/city. BBC choice for Eastenders if you miss it on 1 (10pm same night) and for it's advanced screenings of 24 (fantastic). Not that I spend all day watching tv of course.....

True, last couple of weeks of buffy have been better. In fact, I am watching buffy and angel right now that I taped earlier in the evening. I love watching taped stuff. I can ff trhough the ads and the bits in angel that are too scary for me...i'm a total wimp.

Not happy did body shop party last night so left it in dh capable hands to tape buffy and angel. Went to watch it when I got in and found a blank black screen. He now has to borrow from his mate at work and I wont see it until Monday Tuesday of next week.

Poor you joe, they were both good episodes, Angel in particular had some really funny lines - although he seemed less attractive to me - its all Sofias fault for telling me what an idiot he is...oh well, have to find a new crush, which shouldnt be too hard considering the kind of mood I'm in at the moment...

Oh, Enid, I'm so sorry. I used to be in the music business and then lived in los angeles for many years so I've met a lot of famous people and unfortunately most of the musicians and actors were sooo disappointing and ruined my appreciation of their music/acting that I try not to meet them any more. Though the opportunity doesn't seem to arise as much here as it did in la. A few years ago I was in a yoga class in la with david ducovny for months and didn't realize who he was until a visiting english friend pointed him out. And this was despite the fact that he took his shirt off in almost every class!

Does anyone else's dh/dp hog the Sky remote and flick thru every channel, usually with no intention of watching anything, then put something on of no interest to you and go off and do something else?

sofiaames - ooh!!! smouldery mulder in your yoga class??? was that before or during the x files??? i used to think he was lovely... still have a soft spot for him... but i think i loved mulder more than david duchovny... does that sound strange???

It was during the x-files, but i didn't watch it because it was too scary for me....fantasy island is about my speed for scifi.
