For a childrenn bedroom which has sloped roofs.

Can anyone find me something similar in shape to folow roof but less expensive

Any comments on this or cheaper versions

or this - I think boxes are a little small but versatile

Anything else to consider?

Where do your DC store board games, craft stuff and dolls stuff?

Thanks for reading?

How about the Trofast range in Ikea -that would fit in the sloping area.

SlightlyMadScientist · 16/01/2007 14:50

Trofast On the list the GLTC one looks bigger capacity

Oh sorry SMS the last link wouldn't open for me first time round so didn't realise you had that one in mind

LIZS · 16/01/2007 15:05

We've got the Trofast in several permutations - hold Lego, Playmobil etal . We also have low wide shelves frm Ikea to hold the games under ds' bed and low Billys with doors for other boxed sets , videos etc.

I was going to suggest what DMO said.

My FIL is building a storage cuppboard under our stairs for dd toys, games etc.

SoupDragon · 16/01/2007 16:04

Trofast. You can get different sized boxes for it.

SlightlyMadScientist · 16/01/2007 17:18

I just don't think the Trofast boxes are wide enough for some of the stuff we have in mind (we already have this in DD3s bedrooom). I do love the versitility of it though which is its big plus.

I guess my idea is the argos one but built in such a way to give a slope IYSWIM.

BS - no worries. I couldn't get onto Ikea web for a bit either.

Are you planning to stay in the house? If so, I would seriously consider the custom built option. It needn't be expensive and will be exactly what you want.

Twiglett · 16/01/2007 18:11

I've got the Ikea one for creative stuff and I have 1 narrow shelf, 1 medium sized and 2 deep buckets .. it does fit quite a lot tbh

Twiglett · 16/01/2007 18:13

am currently having cupboards and shelves and drawers fitted under stairs .. which obviously slope .. and as its a victorian house they are uneven too .. its worth lookinginto

nikkie · 16/01/2007 20:59

I want that done in my hall/under stairs Twiglett have you got someone in or are you DIY?

Twiglett · 17/01/2007 13:24
