the nappies weigh 2kg, parcel post (3 to 5 days) is £4.78, 1st class is £7.00

so if you want all 11 nappies, it will be £60

let me know if this is OK.

Gingerb.

That sounds good!

I'll email you my address through Mumsnet. Thanks so much for that.

Now all I need to buy is the wraps and the nappy bucket. Is that all I'll need??

Gingerbear · 28/05/2004 18:55

how old is your bubs? For DD I started at 3 months old with 2 small wraps, then two med wraps, now I have two large wraps, could have done with one more of each. Sold the smaller ones on through UKParents buy and sell forum. (could be a good place to look for the wraps?? look for Air rikkas either with poppers or velcro, or tots bots wraps are good too)

I bought a large nappy bucket with lid, used teatree oil in the soaking water. (no need for nappisan etc). I bought a small plastic dustbin with a ld to store the clean nappies in.

oh, and fleece liners were brilliant, still got a roll of the disposable (flushable) ones that I never used. The fleece stops bums getting wet by wicking away the moisture.

www.twinkleontheweb.com (or co.uk??) or born direct liink through mumsnet for supplies.

will send my address once I get your email.

Yes I sent it through Mumsnet on Friday!

I'll try again.
I can't remember which thread you posted the original details... but did that include the fleece liners too? Sorry for being dim.... pregnancy brain!!!

My baby isn't born yet, due in 9wks. My friend has sold me 3 small and 3 medium Motherease wraps for £4 each (is that good?).

She too never used the flushable liners as she found they wrinkled up inside the nappy.

Gingerbear · 31/05/2004 11:55

Oh, no email yet..

The original thread was on 'site stuff' you were commplaining to tech re a broken link to a shop.

Anyway, the nappies have a snap-in terry 'booster' to increase absorbancy. To be honest my fleece liners have seen better days - grey and bobbly and some are pink (oops, red sock!) and I still use them with my tot bots nappies with dd. You could buy a couple from twinkleontheweb (1.50 each I think) then use as a template - make your own from fleece material is probably cheapest.

Gingerbear - Thanks for reminded me... can't believe I forgot which thread I'd started!

That's great. Could I take 8 of them? I'm only going to use them part time and was only going to get 6 with the starter pack from Little Green Earthlets so I think 8 will be fine.

So that'll be £40 + P&P? Hadn't thought about making my own fleece liners, what a great idea! I love Mumsnet.

I'll email again....

Gingerbear · 31/05/2004 19:47

what a busy BHM!! (Bank Hol Mon)
Only just managed to get back on line.

Thats fine if you only want 8 (be warned, once a clothie, always a clothie.....)

total cost will be £44.85 with parcel mail

my email is dleafe at tiscali dot co dot uk (still no email from you via mumsnet)
