can dh use my card for shopping

I know he couldn't in the old days of signatures, but now there is chip and pin I wondered if he could. I can't get out with the dcs - we are in the sticks, it's minus one and I can't see across the road. Dh can go but we'd rather pay on my card. Would this be a problem?

well some cards don't have MR/MRS on the name bit. some just have say A B Smith on them. then they wouldn't be able to tell at the shop.
